By accessing or using Receets, you agree to these Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding contract.
3. The Service
Receets provides:
- Receipt upload and processing
- AI-powered data extraction
- Expense categorisation
- Report generation and export
We may update or modify features at any time.
4. Accounts
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining account confidentiality
- All activity under your account
- Providing accurate information
We may suspend or terminate accounts for misuse.
5. Fees and Payments
- Certain features may require payment
- Payments are processed via third parties (e.g. Stripe)
- Fees are billed on a subscription basis unless stated otherwise
- All fees are non-refundable unless required by law
6. User Content
You retain ownership of all data you upload, including receipts.
By using Receets, you grant us a limited licence to:
- Process your data
- Store your data
- Provide the service
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any data.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Upload unlawful or fraudulent content
- Attempt to reverse engineer the platform
- Interfere with system security
- Use the service for illegal financial activity
8. AI and Automated Processing
Receets uses automated systems to extract data from receipts.
- Outputs may not always be accurate
- You are responsible for reviewing and validating results
- We do not guarantee financial or tax accuracy
9. Data Protection
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Where you upload third-party data, you are responsible for:
- Ensuring lawful processing
- Obtaining any required consents
10. Intellectual Property
All rights in the platform, including software, branding, and design, remain our property.
You may not:
- Copy
- Modify
- Distribute
- Reverse engineer
any part of the platform without permission.
11. Availability
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee:
- Continuous availability
- Error-free operation
We may suspend access for maintenance or upgrades.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses
- We are not liable for loss of profits, data, or business
- Our total liability is limited to: the amount you paid to us in the previous 12 months
Nothing excludes liability for:
- Death or personal injury
- Fraud
- Any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law
13. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. You can cancel in your account section, you will retain access until the next billing cycle. Receets will delete all of your account data immediately.
We may suspend or terminate access if:
- You breach these Terms
- Required by law
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms. Continued use means acceptance of updated Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
